Artist team collected a chunk of ice form iceberg in no man land, which is approximately 10,000 years old granted and gauged by Professional laboratory. Following collection, the ice was sealed in a special metal box that has the function of heating and vacuuming. When the box of sealed ice reached in the vacuum state, the box started to heat, until the chunk of Ice melted into water. The vacuum began to rework, and thus, we got

some air from the ice, but is before it had been frozen (the ice releases the oxygen it had). That is to say, we obtained the air from 20,000 years ago. Mixing with some pure oxygen, they are filled into device. Dozens of metal tubes lead out of the vessel and oxygen masks with automatic latch are attached to the each other end of the tubes.

Audience through this device can breathe into ancient air. Our bodies and cells, in this moment, live in ancient time. Being in the past consumes the past. At the same time, the air of the past in the vessel travels across its future to the present day, becoming the past along with the present.
